CHICKEN LIVER PATE

For 4 – 6 people


Ingredients:
                500g chicken liver
                200g onions
                2dcl of water
                1 teaspoon of lard
                1 clove of garlic
                Salt, pepper and chilli pepper



Procedure:

Fry cubed onion on lard, adding a bit of water until onions get golden yellow colour. Then add chicken liver and cook for about 15 minutes. Let it cool down. After it is cooled down clean the livers because you need smooth structure of pate. Mix the meat, cooked onions and one clove of garlic. Spice it up with salt, pepper and chilli pepper according to taste. Put the mixture in mortar. Work it until you get smooth texture.

Serving:


Serve with bread, crackers, vegetable pure or freshly cut seasonal vegetables.
