Ingredients
300g onions
6 cloves garlic
300g bell pepper
800g tomatoes
800g cooked chickpeas
200g millet
500mL of water
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Salt, pepper, turmeric
Procedure
Fry turmeric and finely chopped onions and garlic in extra
virgin olive oil. Cut peppers into small cubes and blended tomatoes and add
both to the pot. Cook for 10 minutes. Add cooked chickpeas, millet, and water.
Season it according to taste and cook for another 15 minutes.
Advice
Cook chickpeas in large quantities in the pressure cooker
and freeze it. This comes very helpful when you want to get a nutritious meal
in the short time.
