Ingredients:
500g brown rice
500g onions
300g ground walnuts
4 bay leaves
1 tablespoon sweet paprika
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
Salt, pepper
1 head of sour cabbage
Procedure:
Soak rice overnight. Cut
onions into cubes and fry them in olive oil. Slice bay leaves finely. Mix rice,
fried onions, nuts, bay leaves and other spices. Fill up one by one leave of
sour cabbage with a little bit of mixture and wrap it, repeat the procedure
until you used the whole mixture.
Put cabbage rolls in a
pot and pour water as needed to cover them all. Let it boil, then reduce to a low
heat and let them cook for an hour.
